Hey New Bangs!

I got my hair cut today... its the same length on both sides, it's just tucked behind my ear.  But the bangs are all crazy slanty (or "asymmetrical" if you're my stylist) and I LOVESIT.  The true test will be what happens when I sleep on it though.

I did it!

I officially gave my notice to the landlord today... like in writing and everything.  Guess that means I'm really moving!  I gave it for April 30th though, so I feel that's probably adequate time to find a place that will take me and the mutts (and hopefully rommies).  Anyone have a house in San Diego they want to give me???  I'm quiet and sweet and will bake you amazing treats!  I didn't mean for that to rhyme, so lets pretend it didn't.  

Anyway, the last few weeks everything has started coming together so I thought, screw it, let's finally make this happen.  I'm really excited and hopefully things will continue to keep working out, cause that's an awesome feeling.  Plus, I don't want to be homeless.

New toy!

Yesterday morning my dad called me, this is what happened:

Dad: Hey, what are you doing?

Me: Nothing.

Dad: So, do you have time to stop by the house for a while?

Me: Yeah.

Dad: Ok, come on by, see you in a little bit.

Um, my parents don't usually call and need me to stop by immediately... or if they are inviting me over there is usually some sort of reason like "we just made dinner and thought you might like to eat tonight."  Also, my dad's voice sounded pretty foreboding.  I figured that a) I was in trouble for something (what? who knows, but it would probably be pretty bad considering I'm 25 and don't live with my parents) or b) someone died.  So, I run out the door trying to prepare myself for whatever bad news was sure to come my way... when I get to my dad's I walk in the door and on the kitchen table is a big box with a card with my name on it.  Of course me initial reaction was to look at my step-mom and say "wait... so no one died?"  No one died.  But this is what they got me:

Good morning indeed!

This morning I decided to make cinnamon rolls from scratch.  They were delish.   They also were each roughly the size of a small child.  I decided to up the delicious factor from the recipe by adding cream cheese into the mix... sooo, not only was it rolled the brown sugar and cinnamon, but also with delicious, delicious cream cheese.  Win.

Beth told me that it wouldn't hurt that bad to get it on my side.  Beth is a liar.  I would have done it anyway, though.  Please excuse the weird veins on my arm, I don't know what that's about, but I promise they usually don't look like that.
